A Marriage License may be obtained from the City of Niagara Falls, located at 4310 Queen Street, by visiting the Clerks Department between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding holidays. It takes about thirty minutes to obtain the license if all the requirements are met. The cost is $100.00 Canadian. The City only accepts cash or debit card payments for Marriage Licenses. You will be required to show identification for both parties in the wedding. Acceptable identification includes a current passport with photo or an original birth certificate. You will also be required to show one piece of government issued photo identification such as a driver’s license, Ontario health card (with photo), Canadian citizenship or permanent resident card.
